About Us
Dennis Staunton established the firm in Manly in 1970 and was joined by Bruce Thompson in 1976. A branch office was opened at North Sydney in 1999.
Our orientation has been to foster long term relationships and we continue to advise and act for many personal and business clients we have had for up to 3 decades, as well as many others acquired more recently.
A key element in this has been to find and then retain loyal and long serving staff of the highest calibre, to provide continuity of personal contact for our clients, as well as knowledge of their affairs and empathy with their situations.
While most of our clients are based in the Manly and North Sydney areas, it has been gratifying to find that many people continue to instruct the firm after leaving these areas.
The firm has extensive experience in many areas of law, including Law Society accredited specialists in business law and family law. While on occasions it will be necessary to obtain special expertise outside the firm or to refer a client on, we aim to be able to provide a complete legal service for most occasions with our own resources and at a competitive cost.
