Michael brings a wealth of expertise as a senior lead advocate in trial and appellate courts throughout Australia and New Zealand from the NSW Local Court to the NSW Court of Appeal/Court of Criminal Appeal, High Court of Australia, etc. He has also advised at a high level in complex civil and criminal cases.  Michael also sits in the NSW District Court and NSW Local Court as a part-time sessional Court Arbitrator hearing civil cases in city and regional courts throughout the State.

Our orientation has been to foster long term relationships and we continue to advise and act for many personal and business clients we have had for up to 3 decades, as well as many others acquired more recently.

A key element in this has been to find and then retain loyal and long serving staff of the highest calibre, to provide continuity of personal contact for our clients, as well as knowledge of their affairs and empathy with their situations.

While most of our clients are based in the Northern Beaches and North Sydney areas, it has been gratifying to find that many people continue to instruct the firm after leaving these areas.

The firm has extensive experience in many areas of law. While on occasions it will be necessary to obtain special expertise outside the firm or to refer a client on, we aim to be able to provide a complete legal service for most occasions with our own resources and at a competitive cost.
